You can still get started reading the New Testament this year. It's easy. On weekdays, read a chapter. If you miss a day, make it up on the weekend. Click here to download a schedule.

Welcome to the Jefferson Avenue church of Christ! We are the church home to nearly 650 members of all ages and backgrounds and we would love for you to visit us at anytime!

We deeply love souls at this congregation and want each person to know and obey God's Plan of Salvation. We would invite you to use the many Bible study aids on this site and would welcome the opportunity to study with you personally.

If you are new to the area or just passing through, we truly hope that you will come and worship, study, work and fellowship with us in the church Christ established.

Want to be a VBS Teacher?

Sign up on the Family Bulletin Board to teach children in Cradle Roll through 6th Grade. VBS is July 12-15.

Youth Events

Mystery Trip

Make sure you are completing all the tasks necessary to go on the Mystery Trip, July 23-25. Where are we going? You’ll never know. You don’t want to miss out!

Coffee Shop Bible Studies

We have begun what we hope will become a JA Youth tradition. Coffee Shop Bible Studies are every other Thursday night at 6:30, in the private room at Poet’s on the Square. We will study questions that you have asked (please make sure to fill up the question box or send me your question on Facebook). The two things you need to bring are your Bibles and money for your drink. Please pray for this study time together. I think we will all benefit from this study, so mark your calendars for Coffee Shop Bible Studies every other Thursday night. The Bible studies will end at 7:45.

Get Excited! VBS is just around the corner. To help prepare for VBS we will have a work camp July 7th-10th. Anyone, teens or parents, can help get ready for VBS. Any teen who wants to participate in VBS needs to sign up on the family bulletin board.
