We are very excited about this year’s Putnam County Youth Camp. If you are a camp regular, we look forward to seeing you again. If you are new to camp, we hope this will be a great experience for you. This packet will include information about the camp and how to register.
The theme for PCYC 2010 is “In Christ Alone”.
There are also some exciting things happening outside of the Bible Studies. We have some great games planned for the week! Every night, we will have a fun activity planned for the entire camp to participate in. These activities include our 3rd annual PCYC Talent Show. Anyone can participate. Bring your own props or instruments if you need them for the Talent Show. (No one can forget the high school guys dance in 2009!!!) THE POOL WILL BE BACK AS WELL!!!
The date for PCYC 10 will be June 20-25. The deadline to register for camp without paying a late fee is May 30. You can register at www.shortmountaincamp.org. Enclosed in this packet is a “How To Register” sheet to guide you through the registration process.
The cost of Putnam County Youth Camp this year will be $150. There are partial and full scholarships available if your child will be unable to attend due to the cost. Every additional child goes for $125.
Adults attending the camp as counselors and help will attend for free. You first child will be $35 (to cover food costs), and additional children will attend for half price.

This year's camp date is June 20-25, 2010
The cost for camp is $150
To create a new account, Select “Create an Account” on the bottom left side of your screen.
Fill out all the information asked for (make sure to fill out everything with a red star)
After you have filled out all the information, you will be asked at the bottom of the screen to pick a username and password. Please type in both and write them down for keeping.
Click “Create Account”
You should now be on the Reservations page. On the right side of the screen, you will see “New Reservations”. If the name you created the account for is a person going to camp, click on that name and skip to #11 (It should be underlined under “Make an Individual Reservation For”). If the name on the account is not attending, click on “Add a new person to my account”
Fill out all the information for the new person, and click “Save and Make New Reservation” (This will take you to “Select a Session”.Skip to #12)
Click on the name under “New Reservation”
You should be at “Select a Session”. Click on “Putnam County Week” (If you are counselor, please select “Counselor Putnam County”)
Fill out all registration information and click “Next”
You will come to the “Options” screen. You can purchase a Store Card on the day of camp, but if you would like to go ahead and make the purchase, choose whatever option you would like. The Camp T-Shirt mentioned is the Short Mountain Camp shirt. All campers will get a PCYC shirt.
If you choose not to purchase a store card, click “Next”
You will come to the “Secondary Contact” Page, please fill out all the info asked for and click “Next”
You will come to the “Alternate Pick Up” page. You can add as many names to the pickup page as you like. Then click “Next”
You will come to the “Payment Option” page. Choose what you would like to pay. You must pay at least the $25 deposit. Click “Next”
You will come to the “My Cart” page. If you have registered all campers, you can click on “Payment”. If there are more campers to register, click on “More Reservations” and start the process again.
“Payment”: You can pay online using “E-Check” or “Credit Card”. You can also click “Check/Money Order” to mail a check to camp. Click on the payment type, fill out all info needed, and click “Process Order”
After you have registered, check your email. You will receive the Health form that must be sent to camp with your child. Please fill out the form, have it notarized, and send a copy of your insurance card with it to camp. If all this is too confusing, you can always print the application and mail it in. There will be a $10 processing fee for paper applications.
