Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, "Look, here is water. Why shouldn't I be baptized?" Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." The eunuch answered, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."

What must I do to be saved?

The people often ask or wonder what they must do to be saved. Some people teach that you need only believe in Christ, while others believe in calling on His name is enough. Others would say that a righteous God would surely not let anyone perish.

The key question would really seem to be: "What does the Bible say I must do to be saved?"

• We must hear God's Word (Romans 10:17)
• Believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God (John 3:36)
• Confess His name before men (Romans 10:9-10)
• Repent of the sin that is in our lives (Luke 13:3)
• Be baptized for the remission of our sins (Acts 2:38)
