But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light,
we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of
Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. --1 John 1:7

Fellowship among God’s believers is important.  It helps us build and maintain our ties to one another through the blood of Christ, and it allows us to get to know one another as a family, helps us to encourage one another, and keeps us “Walking in the Light” as John describes in 1 John 1:7.

We are fortunate to have a strong, loving family of believers at the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ.  For this reason, there are many opportunities for Christians of all ages to fellowship with one another.  Some of the fellowship opportunities at Jefferson Avenue include:

  • Bi-weekly fellowship meals in our main fellowship hall before bible study on Wednesday nights.
  • Devotionals in the homes of our members on a frequent basis.
  • Annual seniors banquet in our Fellowship Hall.
  • The annual Young Adult Class  Pig Roast.
  • Annual hayrides for the children and adults as well.
  • Retreats for teens and adults.
  • The annual Easter Egg Hunt

These activities are only a small sample of the fellowship opportunities available at Jefferson Avenue.

We rejoice in saying that there are countless opportunities to fellowship with our  brothers and sisters in Christ.  We are truly a family in every sense of the word at Jefferson Avenue, and we enjoy developing our family relationship, sharing in each others joys as well as sorrows,  and encouraging one another.
